More about Bausch & Lomb Biotrue 1 Day
  • Made from advanced hypergel material
  • Daily disposable lenses - convenient and hygienic
  • Lens design reflects characters of human eye for optimal comfort
  • UV filter offers protection against UVA/UVB rays.

Biotrue One Day contact lenses, made by Bausch & Lomb, are daily disposable lenses made from a material called hypergel. The design of these lenses was inspired by the biology of the human eye and they aim to mimic the surface of your eyes to provide you with outstanding comfort that lasts all day.

The hypergel material used in Biotrue One Day has a high-water content of over 70%, This is very similar to the surface of your cornea.

As well as feeling comfortable, Biotrue One Day contact lenses provide high quality vision, reducing any halos and glare that other contact lenses sometimes encounter. They also have a UV filter to offer your eyes an extra layer of protection.

How to insert your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap, rinse and dry your hands with a lint free towel.

CHECK THAT THE LENS IS THE CORRECT WAY ROUND

To do this, put the lens on the lens on the tip of your finger and hold it up to light. If the edges flare out, its inside out. If you’re wearing Acuvue lenses they have a 1-2-3 indicator. make sure the digits aren’t backwards.

USING YOUR RIGHT HAND

Gently hold your upper eyelid with one finger so you don’t blink or get your eyelashes in the way, carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your other fingers.

MOVE THE CONTACT LENS

How to remove your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap. Then look up and carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your middle finger.

BRING YOUR INDEX FINGER TO YOUR EYE

Slowly until you touch the lower edge of the lens, and slide the lens down tot he lower white part of the eye.

GENTLY SQUEEZE THE LENS

Between the thumb and index finger and remove it. Repeat this for your left eye.
