  • Aquaform Technology allows oxygen to flow through to the eye.
  • Lenses retain moisture for high level of comfort
  • Monthly lenses - can be worn for 30 continuous days.

Biofinity XR contact lenses, manufactured by CooperVision, are monthly lenses that are designed for people with stronger prescriptions. These silicone hydrogel lenses can be worn all day thanks to CooperVision's ultra-breathable Aquaform Technology. Aquaform Technology allows plenty of oxygen to pass through the lens and reach your eyes while also keeping the lens moist for the entire day. This breathable and hydrating design means that Biofinity XR are excellent lenses if you suffer from dry eyes.

Biofinity XR are such comfortable lenses that many opticians recommend them for extended wear, meaning that, with permission from your optician, they can be worn continuously, even during sleep. Whether you have issues with long or short sight, Biofinity XR's vast array of corrective powers will ensure that you get clear, crisp vision from morning until night.

Solution recommendations

How many hours can I wear Biofinity XR?
All in One Light or Opti-Free Puremoist

The recommended time is based on the individualities of your eyes. Generally speaking, they're designed to be comfortable for up to 12 continuous hours. After this time, please use your cleaning solution to disinfect them for the next day. If you do choose to wear them as continuous wear, we do recommend that they are removed once a week and disinfected.

How to insert your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap, rinse and dry your hands with a lint free towel.

CHECK THAT THE LENS IS THE CORRECT WAY ROUND

To do this, put the lens on the lens on the tip of your finger and hold it up to light. If the edges flare out, its inside out. If you’re wearing Acuvue lenses they have a 1-2-3 indicator. make sure the digits aren’t backwards.

USING YOUR RIGHT HAND

Gently hold your upper eyelid with one finger so you don’t blink or get your eyelashes in the way, carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your other fingers.

MOVE THE CONTACT LENS

Slowly towards your eye. Look upward as you place it on your eye, and slowly release your eyelid and close your eye for a momnet to allow the lens to settle. Repeat for your other eye.

How to remove your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap. Then look up and carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your middle finger.

BRING YOUR INDEX FINGER TO YOUR EYE

Slowly until you touch the lower edge of the lens, and slide the lens down tot he lower white part of the eye.

GENTLY SQUEEZE THE LENS

Between the thumb and index finger and remove it. Repeat this for your left eye.

DISCARD DAILY DISPOSABLE CONTACT LENSES

If you wear dailies you can throw them away. If you are wearing reuseable lenses disinfect them for a minimum of 6 hours.
